Welcome To CALS Initiative:

Hands-on Training Program

Cardiovascular or heart-related diseases are among the most common causes of death in our country, for both men and women. Cardiac Arrest is one such life-threatening condition which can happen to people with any heart-ailment and is often fatal if not given timely care.

Cardiac arrest can affect all ages and genders. This is why an early recognition of the condition and timely Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, commonly known as CPR, is crucial for survival from cardiac arrest.

CALS initiative has come up with a hands-on practical training program, through which any layman can impart the correct rescue measures for cardiac arrest victims and thus save thousands of lives. This training will guide you through the basic steps of CPR and its correct implementation techniques on the victims.

A heart attack is not the same as cardiac arrest!

Cardiac Arrest

  • Problem with the heart’s electrical system
  • Usually strikes without warning
  • The heart stops beating and no blood is pumped to the body and the victim won’t have a pulse

Heart Attack

  • Blockage in the heart
  • Some signs may appear early
  • Blood supply to the heart is reduced or blocked
